The Georgetown Office of Research and Fellowships
The Georgetown Center for Research and Fellowships invites Georgetown University retirees, faculty and staff, to take part in supporting Hoyas who are eager to compete for distinguished fellowships. Volunteers play an essential role in helping students and alumni pursue these prestigious opportunities.
Ways to Volunteer
- Selection Committee Member: Participate in reviewing fellowship applications and help select candidates.
- Mock Interview Panelist: Join a panel to conduct practice interviews, helping applicants prepare for the real thing.
- Fulbright Mentor: Mentor students and alumni applying for the Fulbright program, guiding them through the process. Georgetown continues to be a top-producing institution for this program.
Volunteers are able to choose how much time they wish to contribute and can tailor their involvement to fit their schedules. Training is provided for all roles, ensuring that volunteers feel supported and prepared, no matter which area they choose.
